888 Holdings Joins Forces With EntertAsia

888 Holdings, the big name online casino company out of Europe, seems serious about breaking into the Asian market place.

The company announced it has entered into a partnership agreement with EntertAsia to develop a live casino service across Asia.  No financial details were provided.

EntertAsia, like SkillGround has effectively used the Gambling911.com website to market its product and services to emerging new industries within the Internet gaming sector.  In the case of EntertAsia, the company is looking to capitalize on gaming giants desiring an entry point into the lucrative Asian market.

888, which owns the Casino-on-Net and Pacific Poker brands, said a Philippines based operating company will manage operations for the live casino, while the company will leverage its robust multi-channel marketing abilities to acquire new customers in the region.

888 Holdings said the agreement also includes the provision of an Asian-focused sportsbook product in partnership with E-Sky, a specialised Asian sportsbook.

It said it plans to launch the new service in multiple Asian territories and languages in the first quarter of 2008.
