Two of the big dogs will be in Macau: Playtech and EntertAsia.
"The response for Macau has been so great we are already beginning to plan for
next year," CAC organizer, Marc Lesnick, told Gambling911.com.
Lesnick's marquee conference to date (at least within the online gambling
spectrum) is his Amsterdam show, which attracts well over a thousand people and
this year will require expansion onto other property space. "Asia is the
future!", Lesnick routinely harps.
EntertAsia is quickly building a name for
itself as a brand heavily promoted upon the Gambling911.com website site.
"EntertAsia is one of our primary sponsor and we enjoy a wonderful relationship
with them," Gambling911.com Senior Editor, Payton O'Brien commented. "We have
also fielded a number of inquiries about EntertAsia since so many people want to
get into the lucrative Asian market and can't unless they have an 'in' there."
EntertAsia certainly offers that 'in'.
"You simply can¡¦t use the American business practice or gaming culture to apply
to rest of the world," expressed Jason Chan, CEO of EntertAsia. "It simply
doesn¡¦t work especially when players have many choices."
EntertAsia.com just added a number of cool games to its software resume
including
Dou Dizhu (Fight the Landlord), a game a lot of us can relate to, and
Premium Baccarat.
"The sound of the wooing and hooting of a crowded live baccarat table will
stimulate and arouse players¡¦ betting experience and actions," an EntertAsia
promo claims.
EntertAsia has already begun joining forces with a number of online gambling
enterprises.
"We are now becoming the leading gaming hub in the Asian markets," Chans says.
"Over the past years, we helped many International blue chip gaming companies
successfully penetrated into the Asian markets."
Right now, EntertAsia is blessed with very little competition. Playtech is one
of the few other companies making an impression in this market.
"Asian players demand more customer attention and more efficient gaming process.
Most of the existing online gaming players were traditional land based casino
players. They are not very sophisticated and not familiar with either working or
playing on computers. They need lots of support to get familiar with online
playing environment. What I mean by ¡§efficient gaming process¡¨ is that most of
the Asian players take gaming more as gambling. They want quick and direct
result from every game which makes ¡§Baccarat¡¨ always the most popular casino
game in Asia."
It's a concept few operators existing outside the Asian market can fully grasp.
